Renée Monchalin is Assistant Professor at the University of Victoria, School of Public Health and Social Policy. She has been involved in community-based research that has primarily focused on Indigenous health for the last decade. Her specific areas of research include access to culturally safe health and social services, sexual health,
reproductive justice, urban Indigenous health, public health feminisms, and decolonizing methodologies.
