Ashini joins us from the University of Waterloo, where she’s pursuing a Health Sciences degree with a Health Research specialization and a Gerontology minor. Her research interests focus on the intersection of neuroscience and orthopedics, particularly in aging populations. She’s passionate about improving healthcare outcomes for older adults, and we're thrilled to have her on board until April.
Before joining CBRCanada, Ashini worked as a Research Assistant in the Orthopedic Surgery Division at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, where she gained valuable experience in patient recruitment, data collection, and advanced motion capture technologies for arthritis-related surgeries. Her clinical research background and commitment to underserved communities will make her a strong asset to our team.
Join us in welcoming Ashini to CBRCanada!
