Accepting Applications: Graduate Diploma in Community-Engaged Research and Evaluation

Graduate Diploma in Community Engaged Research and Evaluation available through the School of Social Work at McMaster University. This relatively new Graduate Diploma offers students the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in community-engaged research and evaluation, and to contribute to community and agency learning, effectiveness, and change. We are currently accepting applications for the January 2024 cohort!

In this program students who have undergraduate degrees and experience working in social and community services will craft locally relevant research questions and/ or frame evaluation processes useful for both agency/ community and funder purposes, and build their capacities for conducting participatory, justice-focused research and evaluation.

Students complete the diploma completely virtually on a part time basis over 16 months. There is no requirement for students to be available on the McMaster campus – making this a great opportunity for students from across Canada.

The Graduate Diploma in Community-Engaged Research and Evaluation aims to foster critical and ethical practice in community-engaged research and evaluation, preparing learners to take on research and evaluation within their own organizations -for more information about the Graduate Diploma please visit: https://sociology.socsci.mcmaster.ca/social-work/programs/g-dip-in-community-engaged-research-and-evaluation.html
