Ken Carter is Director of Grenfell’s Office of Engagement at Grenfell Campus, MUN in Corner Brook NL. The Engagement Office supports community engaged scholarship and experiential learning as well as supporting career development and entrepreneurship through the Navigate Entrepreneurship Centre. Ken previously worked for 15 years with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador in rural social and economic development and rural policy, as Director of Research and Analysis with the Office of Public Engagement (OPE), where he managed a community based research program. Ken was program chair for CU Expo 2013, co-hosted by the OPE and Grenfell Campus. He is currently a PhD candidate with the Geography Department of MUN, researching innovation and entrepreneurship in rural regions.
